Da Wurst
Order

Drink Outside.

Austin gave us a yard. We're using it.

Sixty seats under big trees, striped umbrellas and string lights. Come for one beer. Stay until somebody texts asking where you are.

The Yard on a sunny afternoon

What It's Like

The Yard is the heart of Da Wurst. Long tables, four-tops, cold beer, food coming out of the kitchen, dogs under the benches and enough shade to make an Austin afternoon survivable.

At night the lights come on, the patio cools down and the whole place changes gears without turning into a nightclub.

The Basics

  • About 60 outdoor seats
  • Large shade trees and umbrellas
  • Commercial fans and heat-mitigation where practical
  • Exterior beer service window
  • Water station
  • Dog bowls
  • Cornhole
  • Occasional DJs and live music
  • Mr. Tipsy statue photo spot
  • No reservations needed for normal patio use

Families & Dogs

Kids welcome. Dogs welcome. Adults mostly tolerated.

Da Wurst is family friendly without being family themed. We've got high chairs, changing stations, a kids menu, activity sheets and enough outdoor room for everyone to coexist.

Dogs are welcome in designated patio areas. Water bowls are available. Please keep your dog close, your kids closer and your sausage closest.

Da Dog

Da Dog $3

Small unseasoned sausage treat for dogs.

Occasional Da Dog promotions may support a local Austin animal organization.

What's Happening in the Yard

The Yard gets occasional DJs, small-format live music and weekend programming. Think good soundtrack, not festival production.

Indie rock. Garage rock. Texas music. Old country. Soul. Classic punk. The occasional song nobody admits they know all the words to.

No Continuous Polka.

Weather

Texas happens. Outdoor seating and programming are always weather dependent. If the sky looks angry, check the site or social before heading over.
